Fishing Forums

Having been a regular poster on forums for some years now, I don't know what to make of them anymore ?

For some folk forums work, for others they don't. If you're one of the folk that forums are the place to be then good luck to you but I think I've finally come to the conclusion they're not for me any more !

There are great folk on some of these forums and unfortunately some not so great. Especially those who would wish to impose their over inflated cyber opinions of themselves on others and those who seek them out to cause trouble !

Forums for me were about having a laugh and meeting decent folk for a days fishing now and then, two of which I met recently and, sadly through my choice to leave a forum I will now lose contact with them.

I ain't however, going to try and start second guessing myself and if I choose to do something then I will ! Without having to explain my reasons for doing so as long as no-one gets hurt, feelings aside, in the process.

When a forum becomes a strain, I reckon it's time to move on before folk you respect, lose respect for you by descending into nonsensical arguments with idiots about who should be there, whether they deserve to be so and whether they wish to remain so :-) In my opinion, and it is my opinion, if someone wants to play with them themselves, then they should get an agent rather than handling themselves by massaging their ego's at other folks expense - Get it !

Anyway, I'm going back to what I do best and that's fishing and meeting folk on the loch side or river bank without trying to please people in cyberspace !

So, if you're still a forum fan, then that's almost certainly cool with me, not that you need my approval or anyone else's to do anything in this life !
