Amazing Loch Awe Page

I was looking for something else on the web when I came across this info page for Loch Awe by fishinginuk.co.uk which seems to have been published by the folk who run The Essential fly .

I wondered about the politics of forwarding this link, then reckonned that there could be no harm in doing so as the information is already " out there " anyway. There is a heck of a lot of fishing info on this site which has been very neatly and concisely summarised. They even show you diagrammes for freshwater trolling and a typical fly leader set ups.

It seems to be an extract from a booklet which was written by a man called James Gulliver who has now passed away but it is a gold mine of information not only about Loch  Awe but about fishing in Scotland and elsewhere.
